Forbidden Sensation Care Guide

To ensure you get the safest, cleanest burn from your candles and the maximum longevity from your room sprays, please follow these essential care instructions.

I. Candle Care (Ignite Your Sensation)

Our candles are crafted with premium Problend 600 Wax and HTP Wicks for an optimal scent throw.

1. The Critical First Burn

The first time you light your candle is the most important.

  • Create a Full Melt Pool: Allow the candle to burn until the wax has melted and pooled all the way to the edge of the vessel. This typically takes 2 to 4 hours.

  • Prevent Tunneling: Failure to achieve a full melt pool on the first burn can cause "tunneling," which wastes wax and shortens the candle's lifespan.

2. Wick Trimming Rule

Always trim the wick before every single burn.

  • The Length: Trim the wick to 1/4 inch (6mm) before lighting. You can use a dedicated wick trimmer, nail clippers, or scissors.

  • Why Trim? A short, neat wick ensures a clean flame, prevents excessive smoke, and controls the amount of heat, which helps your candle last longer.

3. Burn Safety and Duration

  • Maximum Burn Time: Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning too long can cause the jar to overheat.

  • Final Burn: Stop using the candle when only 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom. Burning past this point can cause the vessel to break or overheat.

4. Safety First

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep away from flammable materials, drafts, children, and pets.

  • Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

II. Room Spray Care (Immediate Atmosphere)

Our Room Sprays provide an instant burst of complex, forbidden fragrance to transform your space.

1. Usage Instructions

  • Shake Gently: Gently shake the bottle before each use to ensure the fragrance oils and water base are fully mixed.

  • Test Fabrics: Before spraying linens or clothing, test a small, inconspicuous area first. Some highly concentrated oils may cause staining.

  • Distance: Hold the bottle at least 12 inches away from any delicate surfaces.

  • Less is More: Start with 1–2 sprays for a small room. Our sprays are highly concentrated, and a little goes a long way.

2. Storage

  • Store the room spray bottle upright in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, which can diminish the fragrance strength over time.

3. Important Safety Warning

  • Do Not Ingest.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • Do not spray directly onto the skin, face, or near open flames.
